Structural reinforcement guide published

An updated guide to the use of fibre reinforced polymers (FRP) has been published by the Concrete Repair Association (CRA).

The new edition of Advice Note 3 has been designed to give an overview of structural strengthening.

The application of FRPs has been driven by the upgrading of vehicle weights and changes in design codes for bridges and structures such as car parks.
