The London Borough of Harrow has invested £20,000 in a CCTV-equipped van which will be used to enforce parking restrictions.
The van has two cameras, one of which can be extended six feet and rotate through 360 degrees.
Andy Appleby, public realm enforcement service manager, said: “This really will send the message home about parking. While this deals with the enforcement aspect, we are also trying to educate people to comply with the laws and signage.”
