Balls seeks infrastructure deal
Shadow chancellor Ed Balls has asked Olympic Delivery Authority chairman Sir John Armitt to examine how the politics could be taken out of delivering new infrastructure.
Balls told the Labour Party conference in Manchester last week that Armitt had agreed to consider how long-term infrastructure decision-making, planning, delivery and finance could be “radically improved”.
