Parliamentary probe on how to encourage more cycling
Ministers are to be charged with introducing measures to get more people cycling that emerge from a new cross-party parliamentary inquiry into cycling.
A panel of ten MPs will examine how to encourage more people to cycle. The group’s report, which will follow hearings in the autumn and new year, is being funded by a £10,000 grant from News International, whose title The Times is campaigning to improve cycling safety.
