Mayor launches first review of capital’s road network for ‘a generation’

The first review of London’s road network for almost 30 years got underway last week with the inaugural meeting of the mayor’s roads task force.
The formation of the new group reflects the views of Boris Johnson and his deputy mayor for transport, Isabel Dedring, that the capital’s road network has been neglected in the last decade as the focus has been on major public transport projects such as Crossrail.
