Drive for single suppliers steps up with ‘pound in the ground’ ratings

The Highways Term Maintenance Association is to step up its drive for integrated contracts that see a single main supplier fused with the client local authority.

The HTMA’s new chair, Tony Gates, in an interview with LTT this week, said he believed that a new suite of outcome-based indicators the Association has been road-testing with clients will demonstrate that integrated contracts are the route to more cost savings.
