Build a tunnel to replace flyover, says council
The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is calling for a tunnel to replace the Hammersmith Flyover.
TfL’s work to repair the structure is due to be completed next week, ahead of schedule. The scheme has seen 22km of new cables installed above and below the bridge deck to add to the load capacity of the existing cables.
