Road safety framework fails to excite councils
The DfT’s recent Road safety framework has had little impact on local authorities, according to a survey by the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport Safety (PACTS).
“Five respondents in six thought the framework had no effect or a negative effect on road safety in general,” says the report, based on a survey of members of council officer associations ADEPT and TAG.
