Parties vying for power make maintenance pledge
Parties Vying to control unitary and metropolitan authorities are promising to improve maintenance services.
The Milton Keynes Liberal Democrats, trying to stop the Conservatives gaining full control of the council, are campaigning for the maintenance budget to be increased as the city grows. Similarly, Swindon Labour, hoping to seize control from the Conservatives, are promising “to increase the potholes budget”.
