Baker ups Green Bus and Better Bus funding awards
Transport Minister Norman Baker has announced the companies and councils that will benefit from the latest tranche of the Green Bus Fund and funding from the Better Bus Area Fund. The amount allocated was raised from £20m to £31m in respect of the Green Bus Fund, and from £50m to £70m in respect of the Better Bus Area Fund.
Baker said that projects under these two funds will help drive forward bus travel in England by helping to fund:
