First Manchester fined for poor service
First Manchester has been fined £285,000 by North West Traffic commissioner Beverley Bell for failing to operate bus services reliably. Bell said surveys by VOSA’s bus compliance officers suggested the operator was achieving only an 82-83% compliance with the Traffic Commissioners’ reliability guidelines compared with a target of 95%.
