New ‘fast’ DC charger for shopping malls
ABBs new fast charger has been designed for locations such as shopping mall car parks where users don’t need an ultra-fast 15 minute chargeABB has launched a new DC charging unit for electric vehicles specifically targeted at users requiring relatively fast charging in commercial and office areas. The Terra Smart Connect (SC) unit will, the company says, significantly improve the business case for installing EV fast chargers throughout Europe as it is being put on sale for just Euro 9,988. The Terra SC will be able to fully charge an electric car in 30-120 minutes and can charge the battery of any currently available EV from 30%...
