Comber Greenway cycle route, Greater Belfast
The 11.2km Comber Greenway cycle route has been completed. Built on the trackbed of the former Belfast to Comber railway – closed in 1950 – the three-metre-wide route, designated National Cycle Route 99, runs from Dee Street in East Belfast to Comber and included the reinstatement of three bridges and the installation of a fourth cycle/pedestrian bridge.
