I am very reluctant to continue this argument - concerning what is, after all, a technical matter - in your letters column but I fear that I shall be accused of 'bottling out' if I do not respond to Barry Hutton's challenge (Letters LTT 27 Jun), following my letter in the previous edition.
I am sorry that Barry accuses me of "personal insults". I flatter myself that no one I have ever worked with would consider that to be my style and, having re-read the letter, I cannot see anything...
