The iTravel DRT service in Cheshire West covers a very rural sparsely populated area with most people living too far from public transport to be able to use it.

Since the service was launched 8 months ago, the uptake has been strong, with at least 3 bus passengers per vehicle hour of operation reached in a short time. Partners in the project, Cheshire West and Chester Council, Stagecoach and Padam Mobility talk about how the service is designed and operated to enable and encourage people to use the bus.
