Social media has a role to play in keeping track of problems relating to signs and lines, says Brighton & Hove’s parking infrastructure manager Charles Field. “We encourage members of the public to contact us via social media to let us know of any problems,” he says.

“If it’s a simple case of maintaining lines then we try and do it within two weeks but some changes do require amendments to traffic order and/or ordering new signs.”
