Southampton residents armed with speed guns

Residents in Southampton are to be given speed guns to record speeding motorists. The evidence will be given to the police, who will then write to the offending drivers warning them of the dangers of driving too fast.  Hampshire Police says Community Speed-Watch will empower local people to tackle reckless drivers.
