RBKC won’t budge on Kensington bike lane

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea this week rejected the idea of reinstating temporary cycle lanes on Kensington High Street. 

The council installed temporary lanes last October following pressure from the Government and London mayor Sadiq Khan. But the council removed the lanes just seven weeks later, citing negative feedback from residents and businesses.
