Local authorities could raise £50m through better marketing of season tickets, claims YourParkingSpace

Local authorities could be missing out on nearly £50m of extra revenue a year by failing to market their parking spaces effectively, argues online parking space rental marketplace YourParkingSpace.co.uk.

The company used Freedom of Information responses from 265 councils to assess their parking accounts. It believes that local authorities that are currently struggling to fund public services could use parking permit revenues to help make up the shortfall.
