3i reviews future of IT supplier Civica

Civica, which provides software and IT to the UK public sector, could be floated or sold by its owner. Private equity group 3i has appointed NM Rothschild to conduct a strategic review of the company.

Civica’s local authority clients include boroughs using its parking enforcement software. Local government accounts for around 50% of the company’s revenues, with the rest derived from clients such as NHS trusts and police forces.
