Taxis can stop on London's red routes

Licensed taxis and private hire vehicles are being allowed to stop on London’s red route network at night to allow passengers to use cash machines. Under the six-month trial any passenger who needs to withdraw money will be able to ask a driver to stop near a cash point on a red route for up to five minutes between 10pm and 6am. The aim of the initiative is to allow passengers to safely use cash machines at night.
