The Office of Rail Regulation has today approved track access applications giving train companies rights to run additional and/or amended passenger services on the East Coast Main Line.
Following industry-wide consultation, new access rights on the ECML will allow East Coast and open access operators Grand Central and Hull Trains to run more trains and improve services for passengers.
