Sales of diesel fuel in London fell twice as elsewhere in the country, according to research by clean transport group Transport & Environment UK.
Figures based on analysis of Department for Energy Security and Net Zero statistics suggest sales fell nearly 40% in London over the past four years compared with 20% in other regions.
