DfT offers operators grants to improve information for disabled passengers

The Government is offering small bus and a coach operators a share of £4.65m to install technology that will display and announce information clearly for all passengers, including those with sight and hearing impairments.

Operators can bid for Accessible Information Grants to help cover the cost of screens, speakers and induction loops informing passengers which route they are on and what stop they are at throughout their journey.
