Local authority officers are disappointed with the support and publicity provided by the Welsh Government as 20mph became the default speed limit on restricted roads last year, according to the interim report of a team reviewing the implementation.
The report also sheds light on why there was a wide variation in the way authorities applied the government’s guidance on exceptions. It advises revising the guidance.
