Work is due to start this summer on 'fitting out' the new Thameslink station at Kings Cross St Pancras, following the go-ahead from transport secretary Alistair Darling. The first phase of the station, the construction of a concrete box built under St Pancras station to accommodate it as part of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link works, was completed last May.
