CCTV cars to tackle zig-zag offenders

Camera car enforcement has been introduced outside schools in Derby. The CCTV equipped vehicle patrols 22 schools in the city with £70 fines posted to drivers caught in contravention. Prior to its introduction on 25 November, drivers parking on ‘school keep clear’ markings, on zig-zags, yellow lines, kerbs or parking in bus lanes were offered advice.
