Suffolk County Council is being advised to opt for the second-placed bid for its new £500m highway maintenance contract after stripping Balfour Beatty Living Place (BBLP) of preferred bidder status.
The May Gurney-WSP joint venture is recommended as preferred bidder for the contract in a report to next week’s cabinet by economy, skills and environment director Lucy Robinson.
