Councillors in West Yorkshire have reaffirmed their interest in becoming the first place in the country to implement bus Quality Contracts, despite the Competition Commission’s lack of support for the model.
West Yorkshire Integrated Transport Authority last week approved the continuation of a twin-track approach whereby Metro, the PTE, works up plans for Quality Contracts and partnership arrangements.
