Transport for London does not plans to cut iBus announcements

Transport for London has no plans to reduce the number of announcements made on buses (Transit February 1).
There are two types of audio announcements made on buses fitted with iBus technology, which also show information about the route on visual displays. The first one informs passengers of the name of the next stop and is triggered about 200 metres before a bus stop.
The second announcement tells the passenger the route number and final destination of the bus. There are no plans to reduce...
