Metronet workers vote for strike action on Bombardier transfer plan
TUBE MAINTENANCE staff at infrastructure firm Metronet are set to begin industrial action as a result of what the RMT union claims are plans by the infraco to TUPE-transfer more than 700 train maintenance staff to rolling stock manufacturer Bombardier.
However, Metronet says that it has already proposed a compromise deal that would see 250 mostly managerial and technical staff transfer, with 850 staff remaining with Metronet.
