Bus strikes in Norwich suspended after talks
Talks between First Eastern Counties managers and union representatives have averted a planned 24-hour bus strike in Norwich over a pay deal. The dispute was supported by 250 Norwich drivers over concerns about delays in agreeing a pay rise. Staff and engineers in Norfolk and Suffolk had agreed to the pay proposals and only city drivers were unwilling to consider the changes.
