£700,000 oredr for two lightweight railcars

London midland’s purchase of £700,000 of two lightweight railcars for services to Stourbridge, West Midlands, as part of their franchise, will free up capacity for other parts of the network.

Operator London Midland has ordered two rail cars from Black Country-based suppliers Parry People Movers, in tandem with Porterbrook leasing company. The new vehicles will be used to run passenger services on the branch line between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town from December 2008....
