London Central misses out in tender results

Latest tender results from London Buses reveal that Go Ahead’s London Central business has lost the contracts to operate five routes from its Bexleyheath garage.

From December the operation of route 51 between Orpington and Woolwich, with a peak vehicle requirement of 17 new double deck buses, will pass to Selkent, part of the former Stagecoach London business that is now owned by Australian bank Macquarie.

In January next year route 469 between Bexleyheath and Woolwich will also pass...
