Parkmobile and RingGo create new alliance
Phone parking operators sign data-sharing deal following Parkmobile’s acquistion of Cobalt Telephone Technologies
Parkmobile has bought the parent company of rival phone parking service RingGo. Netherlands-based Parkmobile Group has acquired Cobalt Holdings,
owner of Cobalt Telephone Technologies (CTT), which launched the RingGo service. The intention is to allow the two phone parking brands to operate in parallel in the UK, but to operate a formal data-sharing and co-licensing agreement. This development creates a phone parking service which encompasses over 80 local authorities (see list).
