Season ticket costs halved in Oxfordshire

South Oxfordshire District Council has halved the cost of season tickets in all its car parks for people who work in towns. The measure was introduced on 1 April at the council’s 19 car parks including sites in Didcot, Henley, Thame, Chinnor, Wheatley, Culham, Benson and Wallingford.

Parking at the council’s car parks will also be free to everyone from either 2pm or 3pm on Saturdays. The council is to introduce a new short stay charge of 50p for up to one hour during June and...
