Minicabs banned from London bus lanes

Transport for London (TFL) has has obtained a High Court injuction preventing minicab firm Addison Lee from instructing its drivers to use bus lanes and forcing the firm to remove a statement on its website telling drivers to do so. The court also declared that the ‘indemnity’ Addison Lee issued to its drivers offering to pay for fines when they drove in bus lanes was “void and unenforceable“.  The interim injunction will remain in place until judicial review...
