Mayor scraps Olympics plan to raise fines to £200

FTA says Games will pose a huge challenge for commercial operators

The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has welcomed the Mayor of London’s decision not to increase parking fines from £130 to £200 during this summer’s Olympic Games.

The Olympics and Paralympics are likely to see commercial vehicle operators attract more penalty charge notices (PCNs) due to road restrictions.
