Free bikes for permits offer in Lambeth
Motorists in Lambeth are being offered incentives to give up their parking permits, including a free bike or membership of a car club in the south London borough.
The pilot scheme is designed to reduce non-essential car use by giving up their cars and is aimed at cutting carbon emissions and congestion. Those who volunteer for the scheme will get a refund on their current parking permit, as well as either a £200 voucher toward a new bike, or membership of a car club and free driving...
