Park Angel texts warnings to drivers

A text-messaging scheme to cut car crime and thwart would-be thieves has been launched in Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. Bedford Borough Council is promoting a warning system that alerts motorists instantly by text if there is a problem with their vehicle.
The service is being conducted in partnership with a companyt called Park Angel. Drivers pay Park?Angel £12.25 for a one-year membership.
