Scottish rail P&R investment

£1.7m investment plan will see increase in parking and help boost passenger numbers

Transport Scotland is investing a further £1.7m in expanding car park provision at rail stations across the country.

Projects are scheduled for Cupar, Musselburgh and Stonehaven later this year, which will see capacity increase by more than 180 park & ride spaces at Musselburgh and Cupar. Planning permission is also being sought for an extra 30 spaces at Stonehaven car park. Through the Small Rail Improvement fund, Transport Scotland has already enabled First ScotRail to increase...
