Anjna Patel: From the street to the top seat
New BPA president started parking career as a traffic warden
Anjna Patel is the new president of the British Parking Association. She was born in Uganda with an early introduction to the world of transport by being born in the back of a Land Rover in the middle of the forest. She then moved to India with her parents and siblings in the early seventies where she represented her state in various sports at national games and was voted sports personality of the year in Gujarat state India.
Her family, despite not speaking English, moved to England in 1976....
