TfL to offer departure times for every bus stop in London
A text messaging and online service that provides passengers with real-time departure information for all 19,000 bus stops in the capital is due to go live before the end of the year. Tests of the upgraded Countdown system were carried out during a six-day period in September.
Passengers will be able to get the latest bus information using mobile web or the internet. They can search for the appropriate bus stop by street name, area or postcode.
