Switch raises onboard communication
Westermo has developed new Ethernet switches, which it says will help make onboard railway communication networks more reliable. The Viper-212, Viper-112 and Viper 0121 twelve-port switches simplify network design, installation and maintenance, said the firm.
“Onboard rolling stock applications present one of the toughest environments for any electronic device,” said a Westermo spokesman.
