Stevenson calls for Glasgow to host public transport Commonwealth Games
Scotland's transport minister, Stewart Stevenson, has stressed that he wants to see the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow served by public transport.
Stevenson, speaking to SPT members at the Scottish National Party's annual conference in Inverness, said the 2014 Games were not about providing vast amounts of car parking at the venues, but about getting people there sustainably.
