A new deal, and a new approach to cyclists

Let me congratulate Govia on retaining the Southern rail franchise. It has been a focus of interest for many who use cycles and rail services in the South East. The potential in the successful delivery of the franchise requirement for 1,500 cycle parking places, is the sign of a change in the way cycling is being seen, as a way to deliver the individual door-to door journey which no amount of rail stations or frequent trains can ever deliver.
Relations have not always been easy between cyclists...
