As well as vehicle and equipment suppliers the show featured major displays by the big French transport operators including SNCF, Keolis, RATP, and Veolia Transdev. There was also a cycle area. French major rail manufacturer Alstom had a dominant presence, with its German rival Siemens nearby.
Buses appeared in new styles and shapes, including a new ADL hybrid London double decker, parked outside to underline RATPs ownership of London United. The specially styled VanHool EquiCity for Metz is the work of designer Eric Rhinn. Heuliez, Irisbus and MAN were amongst those showing hybrids. VDL was proudly displaying the major weight reduction achieved by the use of new materials on its Urban Networker. Gépébus showed two all-electric midi buses, including one for RATP.
Customer-friendly information and payment systems using mobiles and interactive displays were featured on both the stands of system suppliers and operators, like those above from SNCF and RATP, and Veolia Transdev through its new relationship with IBM.
