DfT’s procurement practice praised
ROCUREMENT
A RANGE of techniques to discourage the private sector from overbidding for transport contracts are outlined in a new report prepared by British consultants for Australia’s Department of Infrastructure and Transport.
Oxera and RBconsult were commissioned to write the report after a number of Australian toll road companies collapsed because traffic and revenues failed to live up to forecasts.
