Johnson keeps up pressure for Thames Estuary airport
London mayor Boris Johnson this week announced the setting up of a new policy unit that will push the case for a new airport in the Thames Estuary.
His move comes just days after the Government announced it was remitting the question of new airport capacity in the South East to a commission that will not publish its final report until after the General Election in 2015.
Johnson has appointed Daniel Moylan, his long-time aviation adviser, to lead the new aviation policy unit....
