Cycle priority installed at Bow

Transport for London has completed the installation of an ‘early start’ traffic signal for cyclists on one of the arms of the Bow roundabout where two cyclists have died in the last year. The signal gives cyclists a head start on the north-west arm of the roundabout. TfL is working with the London Borough of Newham on a proposed early start signal on the westbound approach to the junction, with work expected to begin this autumn.
